Credit Card Processing

A. The Ingenico payment processing terminal captures digital signatures and accepts PIN numbers required for optional debit card transactions. It is customer-facing, for the ultimate in fast customer service and flexible payment. Security is maximized for the store and the customer, since the card never leaves the customer’s hands. Mounting stands and extended warranties are recommended as options or additions in the future.

B. The ID Tech EasyMag is an intelligent magnetic stripe reader with a fully integrated USB interface. Designed for busy retail environments where speed and dependability are equally important, its standard length slot (more than 5 inches) makes it easy for anyone to swipe a card and get a good read on the very first try.

C. The ID Tech VersaKey features an enhanced MS Windows layout keyboard with a full featured MagStripe card reader. The keyboard layout provides separate control keys, cursor keys, function keys, and a full numerical input keypad. It comes in PS2 or USB keyboard interfaces.

The “Fax an Invoice” screen provides a complete and organised list of open and closed tickets in a customer record. Select the ticket(s) to be faxed or emailed using the check-boxes and the system lets you prepare an optional cover sheet to fax or email them all at once. Right-click on any ticket to display it in complete detail. Includes Bids, Contracts, and Reservations. Great for managing frequent renters, such as event planners, caterers and hotels.

The Topaz SignatureGem 4x5 is a durable large-sized electronic signature pad with digitizing pen included. The signing area is large enough to accommodate paper forms or receipts for clients while you maintain a paperless electronic copy. The pen features interchangeable inking and stylus tips.

Driver's License Imaging System

Add a new customer in seconds with almost no typing. Instantly validate critical ID elements to prevent fraud and theft without special training.

Feature Highlights:

  • Increase Counter Intelligence — Heavy equipment renter information, including driver’s license number, name, and address is automatically entered into the customer file using advanced Optical Character Recognition (OCR) technology. The Alert Driver’s License Imaging System reads the front of the driver’s license, rather than the coded stripe on the back, for a more secure and successful scan rate.

  • Reduce Fraud and Prevent Loss— The complete image of the front of the license, including the renter’s picture and signature, is captured and digitally stored in the Alert EasyPro customer record. Critical information such as “expiration date” and “birth date” is validated by the system during the scanning process. A magnified on-screen view of the customer’s license is available for verification each time the customer is added to a ticket, maximizing security.

The SnapShell camera id scanner uses Ultraviolet and Infrared technologies to authenticate the validity of driver’s licenses. The 3 mega-pixel camera “snaps” high quality digital images and uses OCR to capture data. No moving parts means more accurate scanning, low wear and tear, and low maintenance. The Snapshell id scanner is a small footprint USB 2.0 scanner that does not require an external power supply.
