Heavy Equipment Rental Reports
A series of reports have been developed to assist in tracking activity between branch locations and for managing the efficient deployment of equipment by branch. Time utilization (not just dollar utilization) reporting provides an important perspective on the performance of your asset base and allows you to maximize return-on-investment. The Daily On-Yard Report, for example, gives you a daily look at everything on yard, out on rent, in maintenance, and in the total fleet. Other reports included are listed below.
Rental Span Report
Use this report to evaluate how well your business is doing in attracting long-term rentals. Columns show the number of transactions out three days or less, 4-20 days, or greater than 21 days for each rental item in your fleet. The report can be run for an individual Rental Group or for all rental items.
Equipment Utilization by Date
This new report provides a totally new way to evaluate equipment utilization for your rental fleet by displaying the percentage of each type of rental item out on rent each day for the date range you specify. The report shows how many of each Rental Class you own, and what percentage of these items are currently out on rent. Using this report, you can determine utilization percentages which should trigger another purchase of this item. You can also use the report to determine which rental items may be sold because you have excess inventory.
Daily On Yard Report
This report provides a “bird’s eye view” of your rental yard(s) so you can quickly evaluate how much of your rental inventory is out on rent, in the shop for maintenance, or out on rent.
Rental Revenue Analysis
This report provides a rolling, 12-month detailed analysis of Fixed Asset rental revenues, including current purchase value, current month’s revenue, yield (average monthly revenue), expenses, net revenue, and ROI percentages, as well as current rental days, utilization for the current month, rental days and utilization percent for the 12 month period, and last rental date.
